Listening to Audioslave : Like a stone

Kasey Chambers - Lyrics translation practice

Kasey Chambers

Not pretty enough -

"Not Pretty Enough"

Am I not pretty enough
Is my heart too broken
Do I cry too much 我哭太多了嗎?
Am I too outspoken

Don't I make you laugh
Should I try it harder
Why do you see right through me 為什麼你直接看穿我?

I live, I breathe, I let it rain on me
I sleep, I wake, I try hard not to break
I crave, I love, I've waited long enough
I try as hard as I can 我盡力的嘗試...

I laugh, I feel, I make believe it's real
I fall, I freeze, I pray down on my knees
I hope, I stand, I take it like a man
I try as hard as I can 我盡力的嘗試...

Life

Not one day that you are here has been promised to you. So make the most of every day as if it was your last, and every breath as if it was the same.

Listened to Blindspott - Phlex

Found this quote, really meant something to me.

goodnight people.

Blindspott
Phlex

Sometimes when you lose you head
when you get upset
We’re there to break your fall
And theres no reason yet
why they took your friends
theres no reason at all.
At all.

No reason at all.
At all

No reason at...

When you want to rest your head
On a shoulder that
You know wont turn on you
We’re all here till the end
With you my friend
There’s no reason to go

There’s no reason to go
To go

We wont let you go
Dont go

Not one day that you are here
has been promised to you
(said by Kitchener Powell "The Wizard")

Not one day that you are here on this earth
Has been promised to you
So make the most of everyday as if it was your last
And every breath, as if it was the same

the same
as if it was the same
the same
things will never be the same
the same
We will never be the same
The same
the same
things will never be the same

the same

never be the same...

Not one day that you are here
has been promised to you
So make the most of everyday
as if it was your last
And every breath
as if it was the same

Summer-ize Pizza Cat

First day of Uni, been rushing around trying to get everything, including all the freebies from Outback (a pub) , free beer, free calendar... At least they are making a contribution after scamming money off from us. Nude swimming wasn't so much of an entertainment, considering it was a guy and the pond was filled with duck poo. The lectures seems pretty nice and this year might be just bearable enough for me.

Although I thought the summer was already over, the sun is still blazing like an oven on full heat, but once under the shade of trees, there are cool breezes flowing by. Cicadars singing their final song of summer. People everywhere. Maybe, we are just like the cicadars, doing what we thought was important in our short pitiful life, but in the end, what do we really want?

Life is to be Lived

Oh noes.... :(

Uni starts today.
On Saturday, we had a great time in The 40th Anniversary of Waikato University. Listened to Zed, Goldenhorse... but we missed Dimmer 'cause I was at a baseball game (still have muscular pain from that atm) sorry guys.

Had some fun with the amusement ride, although the fear of falling out of that little shuttle thing was the main excitement. After Zed it was the cool Brazilian dancers shaking that ass...

The Maori and Samoan performances were rather long and cumbersome, especially the quiet performance before the ending was abit of anticlimax, however all were forgiven thanks to the lovely firework displays.

The burning beauty of fireworks exploding right on top of everyone marked the ending of the night, falling light trails, smokes, the shockwave of each explosion...

I don't want to record my emotions at the time, because they will eventually fade away, but this memory with friends, will stay with me forever. It was a great night, and I hope this Uni year will be just as spectacular as the fireworks in the sky.

New Zealand Rock

New Zealand music is booming at the moment, the quality of work has become more diversed and refined, thanks to home support (partially due to government policy) With market support there's always need and therefore competition. Gradually these bands will start shaping NZ's own media image, style and identity. Soon enough NZ won't just be the land of hobbits, but a cultural exporting country.

listening to The D4 before going to bed. Great stuff :)
if you can't buy their album, have a listen to their music from
http://www.thed4band.com

Ah ah... Don't know what I want...
